Jochen Lempert, originally a trained biologist, has been working as a photographer since the early 1990s. In his photographs, Lempert depicts the natural world - sometimes as delicate taxonomies (waves, birds, insects) - and sometimes rendering what we tend to overlook - nature in relation to culture.
